Our Caterer-B&M Catering

Stu and I, along with my parents, met up with Mickey Doherty from B& M for our tasting about a month ago. Mickey  was a very gracious host and fed us a lot of delicious food from the menu Stu and I chose to taste from. B&M have many menus to choose from and also many options that can be used as substitutions in any menu. They are very flexible with their clients and that was one of the things I was looking for when researching caterers. We wanted our guests to have options, a variety of different foods was the route we wanted to go...not just a choice between chicken/beef or fish/chicken.

Here are the delicious food options on our buffet line:

- Cherry Bomb Salad with Italian and Ranch dressing-
- Corn Bread & Butter-

- Teriyaki Chicken & Pineapple-

- Mojo Chicken-

- Swordfish-

- BBQ Steak Tips-

- Grilled Vegetable Medley-

- Red Roast Potatoes-

- Tri-colored pasta with pesto-
No one will go home hungry. There is something for everyone and they were more than happy to cater to the needs of our Gluten Free guests!

Here's a little bit of history behind B&M:

Brothers Brian and Mickey Doherty began catering clambakes for family and friends on the South Shore of Boston, over twenty years ago. The chowder would be made the night before, and first thing in the morning they would take Mickey's pick-up to the docks for fresh lobster and steamers. After a quick stop at a produce stand, just outside Quincy Market, for sweet corn and potatoes, they would head to the beach and begin preparing the bake.
Soon, requests for their clambakes began coming in from friends and strangers alike. Over the years they expanded their repertoire to include Pig Roasts, Luaus and Barbecues. They quit their day jobs, and the rest is history.
Today, known as the B&M Clambake Company, Brian, Mickey and their crews travel from the coast of Maine to the Gulf of Mexico catering intimate family gatherings and corporate events for thousands.
